"Labor, consistency, and a course that runs itself: the RM21 solves all three in one."
Meet the RM21
Always shows up. Never slows down.
The FJD RM21 is a commercial-grade autonomous mower made for roughs and driving ranges, the routine, repetitive cuts that tie up your crew. Rugged enough for real course terrain, quiet enough to run anytime.
RM21 in action on a Los Angeles golf course
The RM21 maps your zones, mows them on the schedule you set, then self-docks and recharges on its own. Set it once, and it keeps the cycle going.
Why courses choose it
The day-to-day difference superintendents feel from week one.
Hundreds of operator hours back each season, redirected to the detail work that actually moves course conditions, with operating costs down.
The same clean, even finish on every pass, every day, so conditions stay consistent no matter who is on the crew that morning.
The routine runs on its own, day or night, freeing your team to focus on everything a robot can’t.
What sets it apart
Six reasons superintendents pick it over everything else.
3rd-generation combining RTK, LiDAR, and camera.
durable, low-maintenance, easy to service.
swappable attachments (ball picker, line marker, grass collector).
easy to use app, long runtime, self-docks and recharges.
machines work together, swap out if one is down.
best ROI in robotic mowing.
The lineup
From the surrounds to the rough to the fairway: one autonomous platform, the right machine for each.
RM21 attachments
The RM21 is a platform: add an attachment to take on another recurring task, no second machine.

Autonomous driving-range ball collection with full-basket detection and auto-return.

Discharge-blade grass collection for a cleaner finish on detail areas.

Featured deployment
AI Golf deployed a fleet of 8 RM21 autonomous mowers at LPGA International in Daytona Beach to maintain the rough across 36 holes and approximately 160 acres. The fleet can operate day or night, helping keep the course consistently maintained while reducing fuel use, noise, and demands on the crew. The superintendent described the finished cut as “laser straight.”
Trialed April 1 to May 1, 2026. Fleet deployed June 4, set up and in service by June 15, 2026.
